Professor Pu Zhihong of School of Foreign Languages is Awarded French Knight Medal for Education

On March 29, Mr Zhang Tainian, French Consul General in Guangzhou, conferred French Knight Medal and Certificate for Education to professor Pu Zhihong who belongs to Department of French, School of Foreign Languages. This award is made to honor his great contributions for promoting French culture and educational exchanges between China and France.
French Knight Medal for Education is also called “French Order of Academic Palms”. Created in 1808 by Napoleon, it is a national award that the French government grants to domestic and overseas educators who have made outstanding contributions for the promotion and research of French culture and education in the aspect of college education, research and technology.
