On April 14th, the reporter had an exclusive interview with Professor Li Shiyu, the president of School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Sun Yat-sen University. Professor Li holds that the classification of garbage is a task that should be started as soon as possible and should keep on working persistently while the issue of resolving the problem of “garbage siege” become extremely urgent. He also suggested the location of for incinerating garbage must be analyzed and testified carefully; all the problems should be systematically and thoroughly considered; stick to high-level operation management while introducing advanced technology.
