"The13th National Conference on Dialectical Logic & 9th National Conference on Scientific Logic” Was Convened in SYSU

From May 28th to 29th, “The 13h National Conference on Dialectical Logic & 9th National Conference on Scientific Logic” was convened in Swasey Hall in our university, co-hosted by the Dialectical Logic Committee (DLC) and the Scientific Logic Committee (SLC) of Chinese Association of Logic and the Institute of Logic and Cognition of SYSU,. The theme of this conference was on: commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the founding of DLC and the 20th anniversary of that of SLC; use of dialectical thinking in constructing a harmonious society; new development of Scientific Logic against the scientific background in the new century; exchange of latest research findings of Dialectical Logic and Scientific Logic. The executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SYSU and Director of the Dialectical Logic Committee, Liang Qingyin attended and addressed the conference.

Over 70 scholars attended this conference, both seniors and juniors who have been devoted to the study of Dialectical Logic and Scientific Logic. They were from over tens of universities and scientific research institutes, including Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Nankai University, Xiamen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central China Normal University and South China Normal University.
