Nanfang Daily reported: Yesterday, the Provincial United Front Work Department, Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce co-organized the first training class for Guangdong Province excellent constructors for the Cause of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in SYSU. The 120 people from Non-public Economic Sectors and the New Social Class who have been awarded the title of “Excellent Constructor for the Cause of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” in the First, Second and Third Sessions attended the training class. Zhou Zhenhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director General of the Department of the United Front Work, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Zhou Zhenhong stated that the people from the non-public economic sectors have become an important driving force for the economic and social development of our province. He hoped that the “excellent constructors” would lead people from the non-public economic sectors to make more contribution for the objective of “accelerating the transformation and upgrading, building happy Guangdong” of our province.
