Network and Information Technology Centre of SYSU Won Three “One-of-Hundred Awards” at The 2nd Academic Conference for China’s Informatization Development

On July 8th, The 2nd Academic Conference for China’s Informatization Development sponsored by China Information Industry Association (CIIA) was held in Qingdao. Guo Qingshun, director of the Network and Information Techonology of SYSU attended the conference and delivered a key-note speech titled “About the Revolutionary Impact of Informatization on Higher Education Teaching and Personnel Training”.

At the conference, the Network and Information Techonology Centre was awarded as one of “100 Excellent Research Management Organizations of Chinese Informatization”; director Guo Qingshun was honored as one of “100 Excellent Pacesetters of Chinese Informatization”, and his thesis “Vision of Informatization Integrated Platform and Portal for Public Service System”was rated as “100 Pieces of Excellent Theses on Chinese Informatization”.

At the conference, the Computer and Information Management Centre of Tsinghua University was also awarded“100 Excellent Research Management Organization of Chinese Informatization”, and its director Jiang Dongxing was awarded“100 Excellent Pacesetters of Chinese Informatization”as well.
