Recently, the inaugural meeting of National Health Vocational Education Teaching Material Construction Steering Committee and the validation meeting of basic requirements of vocational colleges medical teaching was held in Beijing. Professor You Liming, from School of Nursing, was employed as the Vice Chairman of National Health Vocational Education Teaching Material Construction Steering Committee.

National Health Vocational Education Teaching Material Construction Steering Committee is composed of health vocational education management and education experts who are employed by the National Institute of Higher Medical Teaching Material Construction, in charge of planning, organizing, guiding, reviewing and recommending teaching materials of health vocational education. The committee edits and publishes health vocational education teaching materials with Chinese characteristics and of high quality, and is responsible to foster qualified medical and health service personnel and meet the development of national medical and health services demands.

Professor You Liming is a member of council of National Institute of Higher Medical Teaching Material Construction and Chairman of National Nursing Professional Teaching Materials Review Committee. Over the years, she has edited the first edition of professional nursing textbook Internal Medical Nursing Science,the third, fourth, and fifth editions of undergraduate textbook Internal Medical Nursing Science, both of which were assigned by Ministry of Health. Internal Medical Nursing Science(fourth edition of the undergraduate textbook) was selected into the National 11th Five-Year Plan Assigned Textbooks and 2007 Regular Higher Education Excellent Textbooks by Ministry of Education.
