International Conference of Business Anthropology Was Held in Sun Yat-sen University

From May 17 to 20, International Conference of Business Anthropology, sponsored by SYSU School of Sociology and Anthropology and organized by SYSU Research Center of Immigrants and Ethnic Groups, was held in the library of South Campus of Sun Yat-sen University. Wei Ming Hai, Vice President of SYSU, delivered the opening speech, expressing his warm welcome to the participating foreign experts and scholars. He highly appreciated the significance the conference brought to the future development of Chinese anthropology. He also believed that the study of the social application of business anthropology would further enhance the social influence of anthropology discipline. Professor Zhou Daming, Party Secretary and Deputy Dean of the School of Sociology and Anthropology and Director of Research Center of Immigrants and Ethnic Groups, delivered the welcoming speech. Nearly 50 well-known scholars and experts of related fields from overseas as well as from domestic universities and research institutes attended the meeting.
