【Southern Metropolis Daily】 The International Joint Graduate School Will Enroll Graduates Next Year

SMD News Recently, Shunde SYSU-CMU (Carnegie Mellon University) International Joint Graduate School Program has been notified to the public before its official approval, which means the program will be put into practice before long. The program is one of the key projects of South Wisdom Valley. The local government of Shunde Region has invested 200,003,400 yuan in this program. It is planned to enroll the first group of graduate students in 2013.

Carnegie Mellon University is a globally famous private university in US. On Nov. 14, 2011, Shunde Government, SYSU and CMU signed an agreement to establish a graduate school jointly. According to the agreement, the school will employ 60 professors, among which 30 will be employed overseas with high salary. The school is planned to put into use officially in July, 2013. The first group of professors and students is estimated to be around 150. From 2014 on, every year 100 graduates will provide service for Shunde enterprises directly.
