In total, more than 400 achievements were displayed, including “The Chinese input method based on digit coding of half Braille” invented by Professor Fu Minghui from Sun Yat-sen University. This project was granted invention patent by State Intellectual Property Office in 2008. It has been freely used in several softwares and devices designed for visually impaired people, bringing in indirect economic interests as well as good social benefits.
