SYSU Gets One More Project of National Major Scientific Research Program with Prof. Deng Shaozhi as its Chief Scientist

This year’s project approval work of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) and the National Major Scientific Research Program (NMSRP) has ended. Sun Yat-sen University has gained another NMSRP project with a proposed budget of 35 million yuan. Professor Deng Shaozhi of the School of Physics and Engineering becomes the chief scientist of the project. By now, SYSU has a total of 15 projects of the 973 Program and the NMSRP.
