SYSBS EMBA Programme Reached 11th in the 2012 FT Ranking

On October 15, 2012, an exciting news came from the Financial Times (FT) that Sun Yat-sen Business School EMBA programme ranked 11th in the 2012 Financial Times executive MBA Ranking.

The ranking is based on a survey of business schools and alumni who graduated in 2009, rated by 16 criteria ranging from career progression and school diversity to idea generation. SYSBS EMBA occupies good positions in criteria of career progression and idea generation, which indicates the efforts made by SYSBS EMBA students and alumni and their impacts on the economic and regional development of South China.

As a new entrant, occupying the 58th position in the FT Master in Management ranking and the 11th in the FT executive MBA ranking is a full recognition of SYSBS EMBA programme. However, at the same time, SYSBS realizes that there are still some aspects to be improved, for example, internationalization and faculty research.

In China, EMBA is one of the most popular degree programs for managers and executives, which is reflected in the ranking. Seven Chinese business schools’ EMBA programmes are in the top 100.
