SYSU Gets 7 More Recipients of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2012

According to the results published recently by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), SYSU has got 7 more recipients of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, ranking the fourth in the country, and making it the second time for SYSU to have 7 recipients at a time. The 7 new recipients are as follows: Professor ZHANG Jiepeng, OUYANG Gangfeng, and SHUAI Xintao at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Professor HE Xionglei at the School of Life Sciences, Professor QIU Rongliang at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Professor WANG Fan at the School of Business, and Professor XIE Dan at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center.
Up to now, there have been 65 recipients of this honor in SYSU, ranking seventh nationwide.
