On November 10 and 11, the 8th International Symposium on Entrepreneurship and Family Business was jointly organized by SYSBS, School of Management of Zhejiang University (ZJU), Committee of Entrepreneurship & SME of Chinese Society for Management Modernization, with the cooperation of Center for Chinese Family Business as well as Academy of Entrepreneurship of SYSU, City College as well as Global Institute of Zhejiang Business of ZJU, Management World, Entrepreneurial Management Studies. The symposium attracted more than 200 experts and scholars at home and abroad.

A number of professors delivered keynote addresses respectively to the symposium, including Prof. Lu Yadong, Honarary Professor of SYSBS & Professor of University of Miami, Prof. Jess Chua of University of Calgary, Prof. Cai Li of Jilin University, Prof. Zhang Yan and Prof. Li Haiyang of Rice University, Researcher Kang Rongping of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Associate Prof. Kevin Au and Prof. Lϋ Yuan of Chinese University of Hong Kong, Prof. Xu Erming of Renmin University of China, Prof. Chen Xiaohong of Central South University, Prof. Chen Ling of ZJU, Prof. Lϋ Wenzhen of National University of Singapore, and Prof. Li Xinchun and Prof. Chu Xiaoping of SYSU.

The 9th symposium will be held at Zhejiang University next year.
