According to the announcement of National Planning Office, the Leading Group of National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science has approved “Knowledge Organization and Navigation Mechanisms of Web Resource in Specific Fields”, a project chaired by Professor Cao Shujin from the School of Information Management at Sun Yat-sen University, as a 2012 National Social Science Foundation Major Project (The Fourth Batch). The Grant No. is 12&ZD222 with an approved budget of 800,000 yuan.

Until now, SYSU has obtained five National Social Science Foundation Major Projects (four batches in total) in 2012, which hits record highs.
