57 research results of SYSU win 2010-2011 Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievements Award

The 2010-2011 Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievements Award was announced on June 26. A total of 228 research results in Guangdong Province won the award, including 39 first prizes, 73 second prizes and 116 third prizes. 57 research results of SYSU win the award, including 15 first prizes, 19 second prizes and 23 third prizes. The number of awards won by SYSU takes up 40% of the total number of awards in the province, and the number of first prizes won by SYSU takes up 38.5% of the total number of first prizes in the province. Both indices rank first in the whole province.
This is the Fifth Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievements Award, which covers research achievements in philosophy and social sciences of Guangdong from 2010 to 2011. SYSU recommended 131 research results to take part in the event. After preliminary selection and reevaluation, 57 research achievements are awarded, and the rate of winning is 43.5%.
