【Guangzhou Daily】SYSU increases enrollment of 300 more students in Guangdong

The reporter learned from Sun Yat-sen University that this year its enrollment of students in Guangdong is better compared with previous years. The average score for students majoring in humanities is 637; while the average score for students majoring in sciences is 640. More than 95% students are enrolled in the majors of their choices.

Students in the high score range in Guangdong favor SYSU as usual. Over half of the top 1,000 students in humanities and over half of the top 3,000 students in sciences get enrolled in SYSU. According to the situation of the students and the scores of special types of students, SYSU increases enrollment in Guangdong with about 300 more students than planned.

The categories or majors in humanities with high scores in enrollment include: Economics (Lingnan College), Business Administration (School of Business), Economics (International Business School), Chinese Language and Literature, Business Administration (International Business School), etc.

The categories or majors in sciences with high scores in enrollment include: Clinical Medicine (8-year program), Economics (Lingnan College), Management Science and Engineering (including Logistics Management and Management Science), Economics (International Business School), Dental Medicine (7-year program), etc.
