The 8th Biennial Conference of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience (CSfN), sponsored by the Chinese Society for Neuroscience and organized by Zhongshan School of Medicine was convened on November 8-10 in Guangzhou. Academicians Chen Yizhang, Li Chaoyi, Wu Jianping and Yang Xiongli, together with over 1000 scholars and experts from home and abroad gathered together and explored issues on neuroscience. SYSU vice president Yan Guangmei attended the opening ceremony.
