On the day of Dec.22nd, “the Fourth Chinese Journal Innovation Annual Meeting and the awards ceremony of Journals and Periodicals of New China in the 60 Years” was held in Beijing. Family Doctor, a journal sponsored by the university, was honored with the title of Influential Journal of New China in the 60years”.

This event was co-organized by the China Periodicals Association and the China Publication Science Institute, with the aim to memorize the 60th anniversary of founding of people’s republic of China and rewarding and encouraging journals and periodicals that have made significant contributions to the journalism . more than 9000 journals of the country were taking parts in the selection. After the rigorous evaluation of journal associations from all provinces and industries, and expert appraisal committee, Family Doctor magazine came to the fore, awarded the title of “Influential Journal of New China in the 60 Years”.

Family Doctor magazine was founded in 1983, and is committed to disseminating knowledge of medical science. Since 1986, for 23 consecutive years, the single-phase circulation of Family Doctor has distributed more than 1 million copies, maintaining a leading position in the circulation of national medical journals as well as all the natural science journals. For 26 years, Family Doctor hads awarded achievement as the first and second highest prize of China Journals-“National Journal Award” and a number of honors at national, provincial and ministerial level.
