On January 19, 2016, the signing ceremony of the agreement for collaborative program between Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University (KKU) and Guanghua School of Stomatology·Hospital of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) was held at the Conference Center in Hospital of Stomatology, SYSU. The delegation led by Associate Professor Dr. Waranuch Pitiphat, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, KKU, leaders of Guanghua School of Stomatology, and faculty members from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery attended the signing ceremony.

At the ceremony, Dr. Wang Yan, Assistant Dean of Guanghua School of Stomatology, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Dean Waranuch Pitiphat said that she was glad the two schools became cooperative partners. After the introduction of the two schools, Prof. Cheng Bin, Executive Deputy Dean of Guanghua School of Stomatology, and Dean Waranuch Pitiphat of Faculty of Dentistry, KKU, signed the agreement respectively on behalf of the two sides. According to the agreement, the two sides will conduct cooperation in scientific research, talent cultivation, faculty and student visits and academic exchanges.
This was Dean Waranuch Pitiphat’s first visit to Guanghua School of Stomatology. Members of the delegation also included Asst. Prof. Poramaporn  Klanrit, Associate Dean for Research, Graduate Studies and International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Pattaramon Rattanaphan, Associate Dean of Dental Hospital Affairs, Asst. Prof. Siripong Sittisomwong, Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, and Dr. Amontep Mungmee, Lecturer of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, who stayed in Guanghua School of Stomatology for practice after the signing ceremony.
