SYSU campus mirrors seasonal harmony on equinox

Edited by: Feng Xianzhe

As one of the Chinese 24 Solar Terms, the Spring Equinox, or Chunfen in Chinese, indicates an equal division of day and night. It often brings to mind budding flowers and fresh green leaves.

But have you ever seen a spring that feels like autumn? On SYSU campus, the Spring Equinox unveils a rare sight—golden leaves still dance in the breeze, gradually making way for the tender greens of new life.

Due to Lingnan's subtropical climate, trees here shed their leaves in spring instead of winter, creating a stunning blend of half autumn, half spring.

Step onto campus, where golden memories and fresh aspirations intertwine, painting a vibrant picture of spring at SYSU.
