At the season of graduation when phoenix flowers are blossoming, the 2019 graduates of Sun Yat-sen University will put on their degree gowns to attend the graduation ceremonies. Keeping the university motto in mind: “Study Extensively, Enquire Accurately, Reflect Carefully, Discriminate Clearly, Practice Earnestly”, the SYSUers are embarking on a new journey in their pursuit of excellence. Today, we continue to announce more graduation activities.

Boya (Liberal Arts) College
At 9:30 am on June 22, the Boya (Liberal Arts) College will hold the 2019 graduation ceremony and 2019 postgraduate degree ceremony in the Swasey Hall on Guangzhou South Campus.


Department of History
At 11:00 am on June 22, the Department of History will hold the 2019 graduation ceremony in the Swasey Hall on Guangzhou South Campus.


School of Government
From 8:30 to 10:30 am on June 23, the School of Government will hold the 2019 postgraduate graduation ceremony and the 2019 degree ceremony in the Swasey Hall on Guangzhou South Campus. Professor Xia Shuzhang will attend the graduation ceremony.


Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital
At 14:00 on June 24, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital will hold the postgraduate graduation ceremony and degree ceremony in the Haizhu Hall on the 26th floor of the Lingnan Building at the hospital.


The Third Affiliated Hospital
At 16:00 on June 24, The Third Affiliated Hospital will hold the 2019 postgraduate graduation ceremony in the Lecture Hall on the 20th floor of the Comprehensive Building in the Tianhe Division.


School of Materials Science and Engineering
From 15:00 to 16:30 on June 25, the School of Materials Science and Engineering will hold the 2019 postgraduate graduation ceremony and degree ceremony in the Swasey Hall on Guangzhou South Campus. The school dean will present the degree certificate to every postgraduate, and a professional team will record a video of the whole ceremony and take a snapshot of everyone.


The First Affiliated Hospital
From 14:00 to 14:30 on June 25, The First Affiliated Hospital will take graduation photos in front of the Statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen on Guangzhou North Campus. From 15:00 to 17:30, the degree ceremony will be held in the international conference center on the 17th floor of the Outpatient Clinic Building at the hospital.


The School of Sociology and Anthropology
At 10:30 am on June 25, the School of Sociology and Anthropology will hold the 2019 postgraduate graduation ceremony and degree ceremony in the Swasey Hall on Guangzhou South Campus.


Cancer Center
At 14:15 on June 25, the Cancer Center will hold the 2019 postgraduate graduation ceremony and the degree ceremony in the international conference hall on the 23rd floor of the No.1 Building at the Cancer Center.


Department of Chinese
From 13:00 to 17:30 on June 25, the Department of Chinese will hold the 2019 graduation ceremony and postgraduate degree ceremony in Room 105 of the Department of Chinese Building on Guangzhou South Campus. The ceremony will also include a graduation carnival and a fun photo taking session.


The Sixth Affiliated Hospital
At 16:30 on June 25, The Sixth Affiliated Hospital will hold the 2019 postgraduate graduation ceremony and the 2019 degree ceremony in the multiple function hall of the No. 3 Building at the hospital.

Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center
At 15:00 on June 25, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center will hold the 2019 graduation ceremony and the 2019 degree ceremony in the academic lecture hall on the 2nd floor of the Experiment Building in the Zhujiang New Town Division.
