From May 11 to May 15, 2016, Prof. Luo Jun, President of Sun Yat-sen University, led a delegation on a visit to the United States. President Luo Jun was invited to attend the High-Level Talent Recruitment Fair for Guangdong Provincial High-Level Universities held at Harvard University on May 12. President Luo Jun also visited the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Harvard-Yenching Institute (HYI) to promote cooperation and exchange with MIT and Harvard University.

On the morning of May 12, President Luo Jun attended the High-Level Talent Recruitment Fair for Guangdong Provincial High-Level Universities and delivered a speech. He sincerely welcomed talents across the globe to join Sun Yat-sen University, and work together to map out a hundred-year development blueprint for the University.

During the visit, President Luo Jun held discussions with high level talents in marine sciences, life sciences, and medical sciences. The delegation also held recruitment meetings for talents in medical sciences, and high-level medical talents in the Boston area.
