A delegation from Nanyang Technological University visits SYSU

On the afternoon of December 21, 2015, a nine-member delegation led by Prof. Lam Khin Yong, Chief of Staff and Vice President (Research) of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), visited Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Prof. Chen Chunsheng, Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, met with the guests in Zhongshan Building on South Campus. Leaders from Organization Department of SYSU Party Committee, Teaching Affairs Office and Graduate School of SYSU were also present at the meeting.

Prof. Chen Chunsheng extended a sincere welcome to the NTU delegation and introduced SYSU’s campus construction, disciplinary structure and university development. He expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation and exchange with NTU in the future.
Prof. Lam Khin Yong said that he was glad to visit SYSU and introduced NTU, especially its international cooperative research program. He expressed the hope to deepen understanding between the two universities and promote cooperation and exchange in academic and scientific research.
Established in 1991, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a research intensive university in Singapore with international impact in nanomaterials, biomaterials, functional ceramics, macromolecular materials, etc. NTU is ranked the 13th in the QS World University Rankings 2015.
