Recently, the SYSU online donation (http://donate.sysu.edu.cn) of Education and Development Foundation was formally launched. The foundation was founded by the Alumni Association, Education and Development Foundation of SYSU, and the Internet and Information Technology Center. The website will provide a convenient donating route for the alumni of SYSU and others who care and support the development of SYSU. At present, the website supports the online payment of more than 10 banks, including ICBC, Agricultural Bank, Bank of China, Construction Bank, Bank of Communications, CITIC, Everbright Bank, the alumni and the enthusiastic community are only one click away from completing a donation. The donation fund will mainly support the development of university education, such as rewarding outstanding teachers, funding for indigent students and improving teaching facilities.
Meanwhile, the Alumni Association website will, at the consent of individuals, set up an acknowledgement page to make known of every source of donation and to thank donators for their supports in the development of SYSU.
