The Path to the Thriving - the 85th Anniversary of the Founding of SYSU by Sun Yat-sen Gala Staged in Liang Qiuju Hall

On the evening of November 13, - An Evening Party in Celebration of the 85th Anniversary of the Founding of SYSU by Sun Yat-sen was put on in Liang Qiuju Hall. The party was co-organized by SYSU League Committee and Center of Art Education. Zhu Kongjun, Deputy Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, representatives of offices, as well as teachers and students from various departments watched the performance. Liang Qiuju Hall was packed on the evening.

The evening party was divided into four sections ”Study Extensively and Enquire Accurately”, “Reflect Carefully and Discriminate Clearly” “Vitalize SYSU” and, “Harmony and Splendor. The famous typecast actor Deng Jianzhuang, together with 85 alumni, presented a sitcom “The life of a Great Man”, which received warm applauses from the audience with a resemblance of Mr. Sun Yat-sen and fantastic performance.

The Poem The Path to the Thriving, recited by the alumni home and abroad, Professor Li Wei from Department of Chinese as well as student representatives, narrated the ordeals and pride of SYSU throughout the course of struggles. The passionate performance took the party to a boiling state.

In addition, campus mix songs “The sound of the Campus”, created originally by the students of SYSU, had infused the party with vigorous elements and energized the stage.
