In the morning, the Momo Fes began with brief self-introductions of five students from KIU, receiving warm greetings from the crowd. Then the host made a general introduction of Okayama Prefecture in Japan and the Momo Fes. The participants took this opportunity to explore the Japanese culture such as folk costume, onigiri making, paper folding, jeans DIY and Urajya dance. Some tasted the yummy, some took an active role in the Yukata show, and some put on exquisite make-up to try the Urajya dance.
The activity drew to a successful close in the afternoon. The attendees had fun in the activity, acquiring cross-cultural knowledge and building friendship.
