On July 24, 2015, the closing ceremony of the 2015 SYSU International Summer Program was held in Swasey Hall on South Campus. Ms. Xu Yao, Deputy Director of Office of International Cooperation & Exchange, Professor Ding Jianxin, Instructor Pan Jieyi, more than 70 international students from 21 countries and regions, as well as over 20 SYSU student buddies attended the ceremony.

Ms. Xu Yao extended congratulations and best wishes to the international students. Dr. Huang Zhiying made a summary of the International Summer Program. Remi Haumonte from France and Bin Ehwan Muhammad Ridwan from Malaysia talked about the good memories of the program. Alicia Chan gave a presentation on behalf of the SYSU student buddies. Ms. Xu Yao and the instructors presented certificates to the students. In the evening, a farewell party was also held as an end to this 20-day program.

The three-week program offered courses on Chinese Language, China Business Studies, Chinese Politics and Cultural Studies, and special topics on Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as organized company visits and cultural visits, enabling the students from different parts of the world to meet each other, to become friends and to have unforgettable memories at SYSU.
