Originals, cross-gender performances, pure sound groups, campus singers are becoming more and more professional. The night before last, the final of the 25th Venus Singing Contest, a well-known activity of SYSU, was held. Dozens of university students gave full play to their singing talents, apart from original songs and cross-gender performance of boys singing in a girlish voice, international students challenged Chinese songs, which drove the exciting atmosphere to a climax.

The student who claimed the championship in the end was sophomore Zhang Cheng. As an original singer, he was already something of a celebrity in SYSU, even having held a special concert with his own band. This championship was relied on his outstanding performance of the original songs.
