China News Guangdong Zhuhai reported on June 21, from this Saturday on, college student volunteers of SYSU would provide service for outbound and inbound tourists at Wai Zai Harbor on holidays. Journalists got this news from SYSU Zhuhai Campus on June 21.
It is said that this time SYSU Zhuhai Campus jointly held an activity with Wai Zai Frontier Inspection Station, the theme of which was "Volunteering at the National Gate”. This activity was aimed at practically enhancing the friendly police-citizen relationship, further improving the frontier inspection service standard and calling on volunteers to disperse the tourists flow at the port through innovative ways, so as to ensure that the outbound and inbound tourists can receive more efficient and high-quality convenience service.
Liu Bo, secretary of the Youth League Committee of SYSU International Business School and administrative service director of the School Entrepreneurship Education Center, communicated with the Service Office of Wai Zai Frontier Inspection Station on issues like the logistics service of the volunteers and management of the volunteers’ service.
The Frontier Inspection Department took initiative in innovating social management forms and improving their service standard with the help of external force, and Liu Bo gave full support to their conduct. She said that it was good for college students to take part in the practice of dispersing the tourists flow at the port, as they could continuously enhance their ability to meet the demand of the society.
