As the champion team of "the First Student Competition for Sustainable Innovation" and the International Climate Ambassadors, 4 student representatives Huo Da, Xiao Yonghong, Zhang Xi and Zhou Hongyong from the Department of Public Relation of School of Communication and Design, departed from Beijing and head for Copenhagen, Denmark on behalf of the Chinese youth to participate in the meetings and related activities of United Nations Climate Change Summit-cum-the 15th framework conference for the "United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change" (COP15) from December 12 -18 .
In Copenhagen, the students visited Middelgrunden Wind Power Plant, the main venue of the summit COP15, Bella Center and communicated with the various environmental organizations and agencies in the exhibition area, participated in the related activities of the Chinese delegation media communication, the Global Youth Debate on Climate Change sponsored by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and were interviewed by the global CEO of BBC, as well as the Global Leader Debate on Climate Change participated by the leaders of the four countries Mexico, Australia, Sweden and India. In addition, the four students also made an in-depth exchange with the Youth Climate Ambassadors from other countries over the world on behalf of China, in order to better convey and share the voice from China.
