On the evening of September 9, 2015, Guangdong Workers Art Troupe performed for the teachers in K.K. Leung Hall on South Campus of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) ahead of the 31st Teachers’ Day. About 1,500 people including representatives of Guangdong provincial model workers and teachers watched the show.

Mr. Huang Yebin, Chairman of Guangdong Federation of Trade Unions, Mr. Luo Weiqi, Director General of Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Mr. Yang Shu, Deputy Director General of Department of Culture of Guangdong Province, Mr. Wang Genghui, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nanfang Media Group, Prof. Zheng Detao, Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, and Prof. Yu Minbin, Vice President of SYSU, attended the event.

The show consisted of 4 chapters and 15 performances including singing and dancing, magic, acrobatics, and cross talks. Professional artists from Guangdong Workers Art Troupe, faculty and staff members from The Third Affiliated Hospital and School of Life Sciences of SYSU, as well as representatives from Xinghai Conservatory of Music participated in the show, which was warmly welcomed by the teachers.
