SYSU team won three gold medals in 2015 China Student Orienting Championships

On July 20, the 2015 China Student Orienting Championships ended in Changbai Mountain, Jilin Province. The competition attracted nearly 1,500 students from more than 100 teams nationwide.

 
SYSU team won 3 golds, 3 silvers and 3 bronzes in the 2015 China Student Orienting Championships.

The team of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) won 3 golds, 3 silvers and 3 bronzes in the 2015 China Student Orienting Championships. The SYSU team is ranked the second in team total score, the first in men’s group, and the third in women’s group.

The SYSU team, which is coached by Ouyang Jianfei, consists of eight students from Zhongshan School of Medicine, School of Foreign Languages, School of International Studies, and School of Mobile Information Engineering. To prepare for the competition, the team had a 15-day closed training in the sweltering summer heat.
