Enthusiastic cheerleading dance and graceful etiquette show won thunderous applauses. Warm speeches captured the heart, while pure Korean songs lingered in the mind. The traditional Korean puppet dance with lovely movements and wonderful melodies drove the audience to dance to the music. The gala ended with a chorus “Seoul” sung by the whole Korean class. The touching melody seemed to be telling the twenty-one years of friendship between China and Republic of Korea.
Up till now, the School of International Studies has hosted the Korean Culture Festival eight times. The culture festival includes extracurricular academic activities and entertainment activities aimed at experiencing foreign culture and promoting friendship between Chinese and international students. The core value of the culture festival lies in broadening students’ international horizons and improving their interest in academic studies.
