On October 28^th, SYSU Education Informatization Work Conference was held in Huaishi Hall, South Campus. Managing Vice President Xu Jiarui and Vice President Chen Chunsheng were present at the conference. About 70 people including principals of Dean’s Office, Dean’s Office of Medical Education and Graduate School, Vice Deans in charge of education of all the schools (departments), Director of Experimental Teaching Center, Director of Network and Information Technology Center attended the conference.

Managing Vice President Xu Jiarui affirmed the progress of our university’s education informatization work. He stated that with more than ten years’ efforts, the Network Center, all the schools and departments, and functional divisions have done a lot of work and made great achievements in education informatization our university is taking the lead in education informatization development among other domestic colleges and universities.

Vice President Chen Chunsheng emphasized that education informatization was a trend, which higher education workers must follow.

Dean’s Office and Dean’s Office of Medical Education made work statements on education informatization’s role of promoting talent cultivation; Network and Information Technology Center gave a work report on education informatization; Vice President Li Shenglan of Lingnan College, Vice President Wang Xuelan of Zhongshan Medical School, and Kuang Weipeng, a student of SYSU Academy of Entrepreneurship, made reports respectively based on their experience in work and study.
