The 9th Guangdong Collegian Programming Competition (GDCPC) was Held in SYSU

On May 8th, jointly hosted by Computer Academy of Guangdong and Dean’s Office of SYSU, the 9th Guangdong Collegian Programming Competition (GDCPC), also known as the 14th Sun Yat-sen University Collegian Programming Competition (SYSUCPC) was held in the experiment center of the East Campus. Altogether 140 teams, from 27 universities including 420 undergraduates participated in the competition. The team formed by Liu Chenheng and Deng Ziheng, who are Grade 08 undergraduates from School of Information Science and Technology, SYSU and Liu Jiahui, who are Grade 08 undergraduate from School of Software, SYSU won the champion of the competition. The top five universities of this competition are Sun Yat-sen University, South China Agricultural University, Guangdong University of Technology, South China Normal University and South China University of Technology.

Chen Hongbo, the vice president and secretary general of Computer Academy of Guangdong, Lin Minghe, secretary of the Party Committee of School of Information Science and Technology and Yi Xiaocuan, deputy director general of the dean’s Dean’s officeOffice, SYSU and other leaders were present at the award ceremony.
