On the evening of April 19, the grand final of the Fifth Postgraduates May 4th “Sound of Xinghai” Choral Festival and the “Red Party Flag Waves in Southern Guangdong Campuses” Choral Competition was held in Liang Qiuju Hall of South Campus. This activity was jointly hosted by the Organization Department of the SYSU Committee of the CPC, Graduate School, SYSU Youth Association, and was co-organized by the Graduate Student Union. The twelve teams competing in the grand final were the excellent ones that had stood out from the trails in West, East, South and Zhuhai Campuses. Professor Bao Jigang, the President Assistant, and directors of the hosting departments and relevant functional departments, as well as government and party heads of the schools participating in the competition, have attended the event.

Liu Changan, Chairman of the Guangdong Musicians Association, Professor Zhou Zhengsong of the South China Normal University and other guests have been invited to be judges for this competition.
