With the Guangzhou Asian Games just around the corner, East Campus held mobilization meetings respectively and set up the preparatory work for the games.

On the afternoon of September 28^th, the campus management meeting was held and responsible person from departments and divisions of GAGOC attended the meeting. The campus management committee gave a general report on the SYSU operation team’s preparations for the games, and called for each department to take action, overcome any difficulty, spare no pains to support all work of the Asian Games. At noon, a special meeting for canteen and restaurant responsible person was held about the catering distribution plan during the Asian Games. Canteens were asked to strictly comply with the requirements to guarantee the catering service and food safety during the games. What’s more, the catering service outside the venue were needed to guarantee, so that teachers and students can have normal dinning as usual during the games. In the evening, a mobilization meeting for management of property was held. The property company was required to take responsibility to complete all tasks during and organize teams to pitch in the security service during the games. The Security Section of SUSY put emphasize to inspect the uncertainties, detail the plans, arrange emergency rehearsal, take charge of the campus security outside the red line and escort for the Asian Games. In the course of each work, external work and that inside the venue has achieved a seamless docking, which has and continue to lay a good foundation for the Asian Games. In the mean time, the East Campus is actively promoting and improving the campus environment, so as to get a new look for the upcoming of the Guangzhou Asian Games.
