Prof. Vishnu Chaturvedi, Professor of the Center for Immunology & Microbial Disease，Albany Medical College, USA, director of Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, and editor of Mycopathologia, visited the Department of Skin Diseases and Medical Fungi Research Center at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital from March 30th to April 1st.

During his visit, Prof. Vishnu Chaturvedi gave a lecture titled ‘Antifungal Drug Therapy: A Partnership Between The Laboratory & The Clinics’, and discussed with related medical staff regarding the challenges and development of fungal infection confronted by various clinical disciplines , the safety management of laboratory as well as quality control, laying a solid foundation for the future cooperation.
