Before the Labor Day Holiday, the award ceremony of 2011 ICD (International College of Dentists) Academician of China District was held in Chengdu. Professor Lin Huancai, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Guanghua School of Stomatology, SYSU was entitled Academician of ICD. Professor Lin Huancai received the golden key and academician certificate from Professor Manfred Seidemann, chairman of ICD and Professor Zhou Xuedong, chairman of ICD, China.

ICD is a famous international stomatology organization which consists of the most excellent dentists in the world. It is a professional organization that assesses outstanding contributors in stomatology. Academician of ICD is the most honorable title to dentists all over the world. Recommended by Chinese Stomatological Association and evaluated by the council of ICD, Professor Lin Huancai finally won the title Academician of ICD with his great contribution in stomatology. Professor Lin Huancai is the fifth professor who won the title Academician of ICD in Guanghua School of Stomatology. The former four professors who won this title are Professor Huang Hongzhang, Professor Ling Junqi, Professor Zhang Zhiguang and Professor Zeng Rongsheng.
