Recently, on behalf of Chinese Thoracic Oncology Group, Zhang Li, professor of Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, made a report on INFORM Study in annual meeting of the world renowned oncology forum---American Society of Clinical Oncology (the 47th ASCO). And he was the first domestic expert to make a report in ASCO.

The annual meeting of ASCO has gathered clinical oncology elites from all over the world. More than 30,000 people are present at the meeting each year and it is regarded as the most important meeting of global clinical oncology. To make a report in ASCO is seen as a tremendous academic honor and significant achievement by many scholars. This year, ASCO has selected eight most important clinical researches on lung cancer to be delivered in the meeting. That INFORM Study was selected by ASCO is a huge encouragement to Chinese lung cancer experts. It is of great significance and marks Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center’s study on lung cancer has leapt into the international advanced level.
