The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of SYSU and Arizona State University Cooperated on building Institute of Colorectal Cancer Biological Characteristics

On May 26, the signing ceremony of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of SYSU and Arizona State University Cooperation intention on building Institute of Colorectal Cancer Biological Characteristics was held in Guangzhou. Professor Leland Harrison Hartwell, the 2001 Nobel Prize winner of Medicine and Physiology and Professor Wang Jianping, the vice president of SYSU and the director of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of SYSU signed the cooperation intention contract, which means the official start of Institute of Colorectal Cancer Biological Characteristics Project between American personalized medical organizations and the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of SYSU (Guangdong Gastrointestinal Hospital).Academician Xu Ningsheng, the president of SYSU was present at the ceremony and spoke highly of the start of project. He also wished a successful cooperation between the two sides so as to benefit more people. Wei Minghai, the principal assistant was also present at the ceremony.
