Winter is Biting, Mountain District is Warm

On January 30^th, the party committee and the staff of Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of our university and the secretary of School of Management Mr. Tan Jinsong came to Qinkou Village, Longwo Town, Zijin County, Heyuan City, passing their love to the people in straitened circumstances and expressing their festival greetings.

In the villager committee office of Qinkou Village, the visiting staff has an informal meeting with village cadres. The Party Secretary and the director of village committee of Qinkou Village introduced the basic local situation in detail and expressed their sincere thanks to the Party Committee of Sun Yat-Sen University and Party Committees of all secondly schools for their great support. It is learned from them that their ganoderma industrial incubating project has yield fruitful results, some products has been put into market – only the Ganoderma Spore Powder can make hundreds of thousands profit for the village. In addition, the growth of red grapefruit is also in good condition.

Later, leading by the village head and party secretary, the visiting staff gained further insight into three corresponding assistant families, carefully inquired about their present production and life, the study and employment situation of their children and their health condition, knowing their existing real problems. It is gratifying that, with the special fund for poverty alleviation renovation of dilapidated buildings of Sun Yat-Sen University, they have own their new concrete houses. This year, they will move to their new house to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The visiting staff also gave each family in straitened circumstance a letter for expressing sympathy, relief funds, rice and some other things expressing sympathy, and wishes them good health and good luck, and wishes them have a happy, peaceful and warm Spring Festival.
