On March 1-10, 2017, the final of the 2016-2017 CUVA league match (Group B), sponsored by China University Volleyball Association (CUVA), was held in Qinhuangdao, Hebei province. The competition attracted 21 teams and nearly 400 college student volleyball players. 


Led by coach Liu Sihua and Zeng Xianbo, the high-level men’s volleyball team from Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) won second place, which is the best achievement for the team in national competitions in recent years.
