On the afternoon of April 24, 2017, Prof. Chen Chunsheng, Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, and Prof. Luo Jun, President of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), visited Guangming New District, Shenzhen city to attend a work meeting with Mr. Li Huanan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Secretary of Party Working Committee of Guangming New District, and Mr. Kuang Bing, Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee and Director of Administration Commission of Guangming New District.

The two sides held an in-depth discussion on the construction of SYSU Shenzhen Campus, The Seventh Affiliated Hospital, and infrastructure for talents. They agreed to maintain communication and coordination, and to accelerate the relevant construction work.
