SYSU PhD Student’s Paper Stands Out in ISN/APSN

Lately, the 22nd International Society for Neurochemistry/Asian Pacific Society for Neurochemistry(ISN/APSN) was held in Busan, Korea. Li Yi, a PhD student from Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of SYSU, supervised by Professor Peng Ying, received the Top Paper Award in the conference with his thesis Effects of TLR2 in TCM-induced Neuronal Apoptosis.

ISN/APSN has been hoiding 22 sessions successfully ever since its inception in 1987. Dr. Li is the only representative from SYSU who was invited to attend the conference, and is the only paper-award-winner among the conference participants form the Southern region of China.
