SYSU Student Wins the Champion in Guangdong Student Hosting Contest

On November 15, the Beautiful Voice of New Broadcasters-Guangdong Student Hosting Competition of the Forth Guangdong Undergraduate Campus Art and Culture Festival wrapped up at Guangdong University of Business Studies. Chen Chao, an undergraduate student of the year of 2007 from School of Sociology and Anthropology of Sun Yat-Sen University, survived himself through the trials and finally won the highest award-the First Prize and the Best Voice Award. Yuan Zhi, an undergraduate student of the year of 2008 from School of Foreign Language of SYSU won the Second Prize.

The competition was jointly held by Guangdong Communist Youth League, Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Department of Culture of Guangdong Province and Student Union of Guangdong Province. The purpose of the competition was to dig out outstanding hosts through out universities of Guangdong Province, promote the development of the enterprises for university broadcasting and improve the quality of hosts. The competition lasted for two days, with a total of one hundred and thirty-eight contestants from about eighty universities of Guangdong Province participating in the contest.
