SYSU Students Shine in the 5th Joint Meeting for the Chinese Postgraduate Media

The 5th Joint Meeting for the Chinese Postgraduate Media was held in Harbin from 22-24 December. SYSU has claimed many awards in the meeting. The Guangzhou liaison office of Chinese Postgraduate, which was launched in SYSU in 2005 and led by the editorial team of SYSU Postgraduate, claimed the 2008-2009 Chinese Postgraduate Outstanding Liaison Office Award. Liu Jia, from postgraduate division of CPC committee of SYSU received the Award of Outstanding Instructor. Kong Na, former head of Guangzhou liaison office and second year postgraduate student from the Department of History, received the Award of Outstanding Liaison Officer. Wei Huixiao, third year doctoral student from the Department of Earth Science, and Yang Guozhang , second year postgraduate student from the Schoolof Sociology and Anthropology, claimed the Award of Outstanding Correspondent. In addition, 10 outstanding national postgraduate college media were elected in the meeting, and SYSU Postgraduate was awarded the honor after the secret ballot was taken.
