The SYSU Team Entered World’s Top Ten In The ACM/ICPC
Recently, in the world finals of 34th International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM/ICPC) ending in Harbin, the SYSU team stood out from the 103 teams coming from 103 noted universities worldwide, finished in 10th with a bronze medal, which placed them No. 3 of the 20 China Mainland universities, and No.4 of the 37 Asian famous universities participating in the contest. It is another success the SYSU ACM team has achieved in the every-year ACM/ICPC world finals.
The SYSU team was made up of three undergraduate students Zhao Haoquan (year 2006), Wang Siyu (year 2007) and Deng Ziheng (year 2008) from School of Information Science and Technology. The coach is Professor Guo Songshan from School of Information Science and Technology.
