Competition of Classes Images in the School of Foreign Languages

The School of Foreign Languages held its annual competition of Classes Images in Rongyuan Hall On 10th April, 2010 at 19:00. The competition aimed at showing the grace and charm of the classes and promoting communications between them in a harmonious, easy and pleasant atmosphere. All freshmen and sophomores from the School of Foreign Languages took part in this competition. Instructor Ma Jiaquan and the Secretary of the School of Foreign Languages Cao Xin also attended this exciting show.

At the beginning of the competition, each class sent a representative to introduce the characteristics of his class. Most of the Introductions were full of humor and creativity, which won continuous laughter and applause from the audience.

The following program was put on performances, which were decided by drawing straws beforehand. The sophomores major in French began their show first. They sang children’s song with dancing. The well known songs Doraemon, Chibi maruko chan, Nezha recalled the memories of wonderful childhood of all the audience. Moreover, their extremely cute and funny motions brought down the house. Another interesting performance was acted by the sophomores major in German. They sang a dialect song Ai Ping Cai Hui Ying because they wanted to wish all the audience good luck in the professional exams. Other programs like dramas and dancing also showed the grace and charm of their classes.

After the relaxing by playing games, judges selected the most united class. Finally The sophomores major in French won the first prize. Most of the students said that they had a good time this night and it was more than a competition because it provided them a chance to have fun together.
