Students of SYSU Stand Out in the National business Decision Making Championship
By the moment, the national finals for the 2010 “Peak time”— simulated Business Decision making championship has successfully concluded in Shanghai. “Sun-never-set” (mentored by Associate Professor Wang Jiancheng), a team made up of Juniors Ye Zhixing, Yan Xue, Li Yang from the School of Business, SYSU, strived and won the second place.
The national finals for “Peak time”, a simulated Business Decision making championship which is held annually, is the selective trials in China for the international final of “Peak time”. The championship has attracted over 60 universities including Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Sun Yat-sen University and Tong Ji University to participate. Its aim is to help the students learn how to survive and develop in the intense market competition in a highly emulating business environment and stimulate students’ creative thinking through case analysis. After three months of fierce competition in the preliminaries and semi-finals, 11 undergraduate teams made it to the final event. And in the finals, “Sun-Never-Set’, competing bravely in the business emulation and case analysis, won the second place at last.
